OB-1's properties:

Maximum absorption spectrum wavelength: 374nm

Maximum fluorescence emission wavelength: 434nm



OB-1's Application:

Optical brightener OB-1 is an efficient optical brightener for polyester fiber, and it is widely used in ABS, PS, HIPS, PA (nylon), PC (polycarbonate), PP, EVA, rigid PVC and other plastics. It has excellent whitening effect, excellent thermal stability and little addition.

Reference dosage of fluorescent whitening agent OB-1:


The dosage of optical brightener OB-1 per 100kg of polymer (reference dosage)

Transparent: the addition amount is 0.0025-0.005% (2.5g-5g).

General dosage: 0.0025-0.025% (2.5g-25g) and no more than 0.03% (30g).

When any ultraviolet absorber is added to the polymer, attention should be paid to properly adjusting the optimal dosage of fluorescent whitening agent OB-1.


Usage suggestion:

As the amount of whitening agent is small, it should be thoroughly dispersed, so that the whitening agent can be uniformly dispersed in the whole polymer. If whitening agent is used to concentrate masterbatch, it is easier to achieve sufficient dispersion effect.


Note:

When using fluorescent whitening agent OB-1 for PE and soft PVC, special attention should be paid to the control of dosage. Excessive dosage will cause whitening agent migration.
