Commonly used models of PET fluorescent whitening agents are OB, OB-1 and KSN.
Fluorescent whitening agent OB, appearance: pale yellow powder, tasteless; Melting point: 196-203℃; Color: bright blue light. Good light transmittance, suitable for transparent plastic products, paint and ink industries. Low toxicity, environmental protection requirements, light color, pure color and moderate price. Solubility: Insoluble in water, soluble in alkane, mineral oil and common organic solvents.
Optical brightener OB-1, appearance: light yellow powder, insoluble in water, odorless, stable performance; Color: blue light or blue-violet light; It is suitable for whitening chemical fibers such as polyester fiber, nylon fiber and polypropylene fiber. Whitening and brightening of plastics, rigid PVC, ABS, EVA, PET, polycarbonate, etc.
Fluorescent whitening agent KSN, with the appearance of yellow-green crystalline powder and melting point of 27℃, is insoluble in water, odorless and stable in performance. Mainly used for whitening films of polyester fibers and plastic products, polymer fibers such as polyamide and polypropylene, injection molding and extrusion molding materials, etc. Especially suitable for high-temperature plastics and engineering plastics.
